Moisturising Before Self-Tanning??

DSC_1014

Hey guys,

I have read so many reviews and tutorials about tanning and how to prepare for the process and 90% of what I have read says to moisturise (ankle, elbows, wrists) the places that could make a dark mark and obviously because everyone had said it, I of course did it.

For some reason even though I would tan all over my feet, when the tan came out it always seemed to come out patch. This only happened on my feel/ankle area. The happened for awhile and I couldn’t figure out why this was happening because I made sure to tan every single corner.

One day I completely forgot to moisturise (I was having one of those days) The next day I noticed I had no patch issues on my foot/ankle area so I thought of what I did differently and it was that I never moisturised.

I tried each time once more(once I moisturised and once I did not) and what I had assumed, was right. I have no issue in that area when I don’t moisturize. I suppose what I’m saying is that the popular comment isn’t always the correct answer, it definitely pays to shop around for yourself because everyone is different.

Hope ye are having a great autumnal week,
